find me in the club on the business end of a leash

I hear it's hard to write (auto)biography. I'm not completely sure about this yet; the jury's still out. Along with being a genderfucking culturejamming queer, I've been a sex-radical counselor (primarily DV/SA, harm reduction, and feminist empowerment) and recovering Catholic for over a decade. This has brought me into some massively eclectic spaces. It seems to me that the autobio stuff I'd like to talk about often includes information that includes other people's secrets. I'm currently trying to navigate through this by giving myself permission to actually write about the people/places/things as they have affected me while still retaining as much confidentiality/anonymity of outside parties. In short, this means I'm trying to give myself permission to just fucking write, already, and not worry about things like Whether This Counts As Autobiography Or Lyrical Ballad Or Third-Person Young Adult Romance Novel.

Let's say it all together this time, shall we? Just fucking write, already.

In the meantime, I support the use of LiveJournal as a biographical source. I encourage those of you who wish to know me to do the same.
